About Jenelle Taylor

Hi, I’m Jenelle! Owner and operator of Smooth Affairs. I graduated from Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in 2010 and was employed at a local spa where I gained great experience. In December of 2017 I opened my business within The Lift Salon Amherst and have absolutely loved being an addition to their team!

My goal at Smooth Affairs is to maintain a safe and comfortable space for you to receive your services. I specialize in Brazilian waxes and pride myself on making you feel comfortable and at ease during your first experience, and for every one that follows! The treatments I offer are for the better health of your skin to bring balance, hydration and brightness for a more youthful appearance. I have a “less is more” and “progressive not aggressive” approach. 

When it comes to acne, I have battled with it immensely in my past and I know how brutal it can be, physically and emotionally. Professional services and consistent home care is extremely important when it comes to treating the skin. If you are willing to put in the work I would love to assist you in your journey!

Outside of my career I am an avid gym goer. I like to lift heavy things and put them down! It is extremely important for my mental health and I love feeling strong. Besides the gym, I enjoy baking bread, growing vegetables, drinking coffee and being outdoors. Sunrises, sunsets, open fields, jaw dropping landscapes and crashing waves on the beach bring me the utmost peace.
